Tired to the bone of the exhausting practice of typing? Fond of bacon? Then we have some very good news for you: the Unicode Consortium, which standardises characters and emoji across different operating systems, has just approved 38 new emoji – and they include bacon.
Other emoji hitting our keyboards in June 2016 include “selfie”, the “‘Call me’ hand”, “duck” and “avocado”.
This follows Unicode’s introduction of a fresh set of emoji just last month, where the emphasis was on different skin colour. And unicorns.
Now who’s betting that the “bacon selfie” will be the trend of summer 2016?
